The idea of MLM works like this. You offer a product or service. Then, you find like-minded people to offer that same product or service. You not only make money off what you sell, but you make a small percentage off what your recruits sell. Your recruits then recruit their own teams and they make money off their recruits and so on. What soon becomes a large chain of sales people quickly becomes an upwards flow of money, with the person at the top of his or her chain eventually being able to retire since there will always be an influx of money coming in. This is the goal of every MLM sales person.
Networking Is Key
For you to become a MLM success story, you must be able to network. This means you must know how to talk to people. Without the proper social skills, you will never find others who want to join your efforts.
Learning the proper social skills can be taught. There are many MLM programs and seminars that teach how to network effectively. Usually, the common denominator in all of these programs is enthusiasm. To network correctly, you must stay motivated and excited about what you' re doing. When you try to recruit others, this enthusiasm will hopefully wear off so that they will want to join whatever venture you' re pursuing. Those recruits will then hopefully keep that enthusiasm so that they can recruit others and so on. The point is, to become a MLM success story, you must be excited about what you' re doing and you must be able to make others excited, too.
